‘Perks of Being A Wallflower’ (starring Emma Watson) gets a ‘R’ rating, to be appealed

This is an interesting situation.  If Summit appeals the decision, and they lose, they’ll have to cut scenes from the film - which would then make it less loyal to the book.. which would suck.  

By the way, if you haven’t read Perks yet, you should.

Such a good book. I am perfectly fine with it being rated R.

I don’t understand why an R rating is a problem? It’s a pretty mature book. I’d rather them just accept the rating rather than have to cut scenes :/

Yeah for the film to be true to the book it has to be rated R. And nothing’s wrong with that.
